Mom 'N Em Coffee - Excellent Coffee and Atmosphere in Cincinnati

Mom ‘n Em is a coffee shop located just outside of Downtown Cincinnati in the Camp Washington neighborhood. It offers high-quality coffee, house-made syrups, and great food in a comfortable atmosphere designed to foster connections while enjoying good food and drink. The Ferrari Brothers started the coffee shop in 2019 as a love letter to coffee and – yes, their mother – who can often be found behind the counter.

What Makes Them Unique

Their use of homemade syrups and high-quality coffee that they roast themselves makes them stand out amongst other coffee shops, helping them offer some of the best coffee near Cincinnati. They also offer several house cocktails, beers, wines, and even tinned fish, making it a unique spot for gathering with friends and family, even if some don’t like coffee.

Location

Their original location in Camp Washington is just a short trip from downtown Cincinnati or University of Cincinnati’s campus. They do have a second location in Madisonville as well, though this post is focused on their Camp Washington location. A family member was recently in Good Samaritan Hospital and it was the perfect spot to grab some coffee nearby.

Atmosphere

Their Camp Washington location offers an inviting environment in a refurbished centuries-old home. While there are plenty of spots to work solo, it is also a great place to connect with friends. Although there is no drive through or parking lot, there is plenty of street parking so it is not hard to take a cup to go.

There is street parking available. While this is in the city, typically it is not too difficult to find a spot.
